    Hiking Archaeological Ruins in Southern New England

    We are thrilled for the return of Nick Bellantoni, ready to inform and wow us with his extensive archaeologic knowledge!  All archaeological ruins in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island have a cultural tale to tell.  This presentation will offer an insider’s look at places archaeologists have identified as available for trail hikers to visit, especially those within the local Simsbury area.

     

    Nick Bellantoni serves as Connecticut State Archaeologist Emeritus at the CT State Museum of Natural History and is Associate Research Professor in the Department of Anthropology at UConn.

     

    Copies of his new book Hiking Ruins of Southern New England will be available for sale.
