The Pinchot’s: A Family Saga

Join us in welcoming David Patterson for a book reading and signing of his book The Pinchots – A Family Saga. Like the Vanderbilts and Rockefellers of America’s gilded age, this book gives the Pinchot family its overdue recognition, and focuses on three generations of amazing Pinchots who served public good as champions of many political and social reforms. The star is Gifford Pinchot, born in Simsbury. He became America’s first trained forester and was a founder of the nation’s environmental movement.

The event will be held Tuesday August 22nd at 3:00pm at the Garmany Performing Arts Center, Goodrich at McLean, 50 Sarah Lane Simsbury CT.
