Mary Nason – Good Wives of Simsbury

This collection contains the 1985 term paper of Mary Nason, written while attending Trinity College as a graduate student. Nason’s original paper discusses the lives of women in Simsbury, Connecticut in the 18th century. The rest of the collection is the research notes, bibliographic citations and other documents compiled by Nason between 1985 and 2012 to expand her research on women through the 19th century. She did research at the Library of Congress and the Schlesinger Library at the Radcliffe Institutes for Advanced Study, Harvard University.
