Series 1: Correspondence

A collection of eight letters to Orpha Amanda Eno Vail, daughter of Jonathan Eno and Orpha Adams Eno. The letters are from the following Eno family members: Amos R. Eno, Lucy Jane Eno, Mary Eno Pinchot, and Antoinette Eno Wood. They were received between the years of 1844 to 1884. Orpha was married to Alfred Lewis Vail of Morristown, NJ. Alfred Vail was the co-inventor of the Morse Code.
